Our Story

Create A Little Magic is owned and run by Kerryn Michie. We operate from our father's factory in Sebenza, Edenvale, where I work full time. The physical shop is closed to the public but you are most welcome to place your order online and collect from our offices.

Our story began at the end of 2012, with precious little website knowledge and even less reborning experience, we embarked on our online reborn doll store journey. What a journey it has been.

In January of 2013, we collected our bootful of Bountiful Baby kits and other reborning supplies from Eva at A Little Magic and officially opened our online store. All our stock fitted into 3x 30l containers. 2013 was a whirlwind of blood, sweat, tears and learning curves but we made it through with big aspirations for the next year.

From our humble Bountiful Baby beginnings, we have grown to include limited editions by many amazing artists. We have extensive reborn supplies, most of which we source from the manufacturers themselves, making our prices some of the best.

In 2020, we decided to expand our product offering to include some popular art supplies, with the hope to appeal to a wider customer base. We now stock Tombow markers, Karin markers (a first for the South African market), Cernit Polymer clay products and Tim Holtz products.
